10. Giampiero Boniperti
Giampiero Boniperti was a part of the Juventus youth setup and played his first senior game in 1946. A one-club player, he was a key part in five Serie A titles across a 15-season career.
Considered Italy’s greatest ever player by many, he scored 182 goals in all competitions for the club and could score well with both feet, and was extremely strong in the air.
9. David Trezeguet
A natural striker with clinical finishing ability, David Trezeguet scored 171 goals for Juventus including 25 in the Champions League. He also remained loyal and stuck with the club following relegation to Serie B in 2006.
Trezeguet made 320 appearances in total for the club and even made the Juventus Greatest XI of All Time in 2017. In 11 seasons at the club he won the Serie A twice and was the league’s best player in 2001-02.
8. Giorgio Chiellini
One of the best Juventus players and greatest defenders ever, Giorgio Chiellini was commanding from the back across his 17 seasons at Juventus, playing in 561 games and winning nine consecutive Serie A titles.
Individually, Chiellini was crowned Serie A’s defender of the year three times and was often unbeatable with his man-marking and physicality. He also had the ability to make up a lot of ground against quick opponents.
7. Dino Zoff
Dino Zoff was a wall at the back for Juventus across his 11 seasons at the club and never missed a Serie A game while at the club. He’d help the club to six league titles, a UEFA Cup and was a European Cup runner-up twice.
Across 473 games for the club Zoff kept 227 clean sheets and showed great strength and athletic ability. He was also known for playing the game with an extremely high level of caution and was Ballon d’Or runner-up in 1973.
6. Pavel Nedved
Known as the ”Czech Fury”, Pavel Nedved is a much beloved Juventus icon for his sacrifice in riding with the club despite relegation to Serie B in 2006 despite being one of the greatest midfielders of his generation.
Nedved played 327 games in total across eight seasons for the club scoring 65 goals. He also had the ability to whip in wicked crosses and had 77 assists. His prime was no doubt during his second season at the club when winning the Ballon d’Or in 2003.
5. Paolo Rossi
Paolo Rossi was a prolific striker who scored many important goals that helped win several titles for Juventus. The 1982 Ballon d’Or winner was one of the most deadly players from inside the box.
Rossi scored 44 goals in 137 games for Juventus and guided the club to two Serie A titles. He helped win the European Cup in 1984-85 and was runner-up in 1982-83.
4. Gianluigi Buffon
After a glorious 28-year career Gianluigi Buffon finally retired in 2023 at the ripe old age of 25. It was his spell at Juventus that he’ll be most remembered for where he racked up 685 games and 322 clean sheets.
Buffon’s cat-like reflexes were on full show across a record 117 Champions League appearances, a trophy that eluded him with three finals losses. He did however win ten Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia five times.
3. Zinedine Zidane
Zinedine Zidane was a generational talent, so much so, he’s one of the best Juventus players as well as one of the greatest to ever put on a Real Madrid shirt. Mesmerising whenever he had the ball, he played with an elegance that left us all in awe.
Simply put, Zidane was unstoppable in his prime and that was during his five years at Juventus. He’d end up guiding the club to back-to-back Serie A titles, was runner-up in the Champions League twice and individually was awarded the 1998 Ballon d’Or.
2. Michel Platini
During his time in Turin, Michel Platini bamboozled defenders with his first touch, and did it with a level of elegance with a preference for finesse over power. In only five years at the club he had a profound impact.
Platini won two Serie A titles and the European Cup in 1985. Across 223 games he scored 104 goals and had 49 assists so try the midfield maestro playing the game with flair and precision that earned three consecutive Ballon d’Or awards while at Juventus.

There’s no doubt that Alessandro Del Piero is the best Juventus player ever. Before a shock move to Sydney FC he played a record 705 times across a glittering 19 seasons, claiming six league titles and the Champions League.
A hard worker with excellent finishing, he was lauded for his technical ability and creativity. Del Piero earned himself icon status for Juventus with 290 goals including 42 in the Champions League.
